India's Response:
Suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty: India has announced the suspension of the 1960 Indus Waters Treaty, a critical agreement governing water sharing between the two countries.
Diplomatic Measures: India has downgraded diplomatic ties, expelled Pakistani military attachés, and summoned Pakistan's top diplomat, Saad Ahmad Warraich, declaring him persona non grata.
Border and Visa Restrictions: The Attari-Wagah land border has been closed, and visas for Pakistani nationals have been suspended.
